Content Masters is rooted in the accomplished career of its president and founder, David Alecock. With more than 25 years in senior marketing roles with a variety of publishing, software, and online businesses, the eureka moment for David was in realizing that in every position he held, content was king (long before we used that phrase).
From setting lead type by hand in middle school and freelance proofreader after college, to newspaper production management for The Wall Street Journal, and CMO for an e-commerce service provider, ink--and later bytes--fueled the upward trajectory of David's career.
During a solo career as a marketing consultant and content developer, clients turned to David for additional services such as technology selection, coaching and training, and website development.
Today, Content Masters is still focused on helping organizations build their brands and revenues with the strategic use of content. Now our "bench" is deeper and we call on a variety of experts offering other services to supplement what we do.
Three words to describe our approach? Smart, sassy ("lively, bold, and full of spirit"), and straightforward. While we can throw down with the best of them on "brand architecture," "agile," and "learnings," you're much more likely to hear us talking about conversion rates, lifetime value of a customer, and re-purposing content for multiple uses.
